As our gardens start to grow in spring, so do pest populations! Learn to be proactive in protecting your produce through applying IPM (integrated pest management) in your home garden. Participants will learn about pest life cycles, identifying damage, preventative cultural practices, as well as organic and sustainable interventions. Folks will leave this workshop with their own pest management plans, as well as supplies for a biological control garden that’s both beautiful and beneficial! 

We will discuss the produce on offer at local markets and greenhouses while we cook up a hearty soup and learn about nutrient density and human health.
