Ric started his musical life north of Boston in a suburban home filled with instruments and songs. Influenced by show tune-loving parents and a Berklee-trained older brother, Ric spent hours listening to the family’s diverse record collection, taking lessons on accordion, and noodling at his brother’s keyboards or the living room piano. In 1982, at the age of 15, he learned to play “Blackbird” on a borrowed Ovation guitar, sparking a lifelong interest in fingerstyle playing.

As our gardens start to grow in spring, so do pest populations! Learn to be proactive in protecting your produce through applying IPM (integrated pest management) in your home garden. Participants will learn about pest life cycles, identifying damage, preventative cultural practices, as well as organic and sustainable interventions. Folks will leave this workshop with their own pest management plans, as well as supplies for a biological control garden that’s both beautiful and beneficial!

The Boston Harbor Bhoys are an American Celtic band consisting of the father-son team of Eddie and Ryan Biggins, along with popular singer-songwriter Michael Maloney. All three are versatile singers and musicians, each capable of holding a stage on his own. But when they come together in harmony, something special happens. Though their repertoire is focused on traditional Irish and Scottish songs and tunes, don’t be surprised if they break out some reinterpreted pop songs on a whim. Their sense of fun and enjoyment at playing together is infectious.
