Oyster & Beer Pairing at Untold Brewery | May 7th

Kick off the start of summer with a guided oyster and beer tasting experience at Untold Brewery. Enjoy a curated flight of a dozen oysters featuring three different species, each paired with a signature mignonette and thoughtfully matched to three of Untold’s beers.

This interactive tasting highlights the nuances of merroir and terroir—how both the water and brewing process shape flavor—while keeping things approachable and fun. Each guest will receive a tasting notepad and stickers to track favorites, with plenty of time to ask questions or simply kick back and enjoy great oysters, cold beer, and good company.

What started as small, hands-on gatherings has grown into thoughtfully curated events that blend education, hospitality, and a strong sense of place. With a foundation in both aquaculture and event production, Pippa & Poe highlights the story behind each oyster—from hatchery to harvest—creating experiences that are interactive, approachable, and designed to pair seamlessly with the setting.

Hosted by Maureen Vaughan, founder of Pippa & Poe, and Chris Teufel, marine biologist who raises shellfish from spawn to harvest.

Your ticket includes a dozen oysters and accoutrements, such as their signature mignonettes, paired with three pours of Untold Brewing’s signature craft beers. Notepad for tasting notes, fun stickers, and bread or chips to eat with the oysters is also included.
