What to Expect:
We're reviving the tradition of learning in the schoolhouse this summer semester with Friends of Holly Hill Farm!
Join us for enriching and hands-on educational workshops focused on the fundamentals of sustainable and responsible growing at home, eating locally and seasonally, and caring for the natural world. Explore topics like: The UNTOLD Health Benefits of Eating More Plants, Working with the Weeds, Delicious Garlic Scapes, and How to make Exciting Salads.
Sign up for one session or all of them, and we hope to empower you in your journey towards delicious and sustainable living!

May 6: The UNTOLD Health Benefits of Eating More Plants: Nutrition advice often focuses on macronutrients like protein, fats, and carbohydrates but the health benefits of produce grown in healthy soil extend far beyond this narrow view. Join Holly Hill Farm Educator and Health Coach Meghan Watts and Educator Wendy Prentiss as they discuss the UNTOLD benefits of eating a variety of colorful fruits and vegetables. Sample some locally-grown organic produce as you sip and learn during this interactive workshop.
May 20: Working with the Weeds : At this workshop you will learn how to maximize your natural space by working with the weeds. Learn about the background management and uses of common garden weeds.
June 3: Delicious Garlic Scapes: With the abundance of garlic scapes this time of year, we will make pesto, soup, and more with farm educators from Holly Hill.
June 24: How to make Exciting Salads
Are you in a salad rut? With some creative shifts and new ideas, come learn with the educators from Holly Hill how to make salads that you can get excited about. We will sample salads while we sip
