We finally experienced that moment when you’re no longer just a construction project, but rather an actual brewery. Or at least you look like an actual brewery. We’ve been working feverishly over the past month to complete the taproom, finalize utility connections, and prepare the building for lots of shiny, beautiful, stainless steel tanks. And after a crazy two weeks, the equipment is now in the building.
We’re not done yet, but we are a hell of a lot closer. Over the coming weeks we will complete all utility connections, fire up the brewhouse, and then (drumroll) start brewing some beer. We’ve said it before, but little by little, a little becomes a lot.
We currently have an amazing team of subcontractors working every day to bring the brewery to life, so this place is bustling. However, we are learning that the last 10% takes the most effort and coordination. And although we’re optimistic for an early fall open, we aren’t making any promises about an opening date yet (mostly because we’re incredibly superstitious and are certain as soon as we post an opening date we’ll find out the brewery was built on an ancient alien burial ground and Mulder and Scully are on their way to shut this place down). However, we can promise you one thing – we’re closer today than we were yesterday.
More pictures below and many more updates to come. Thanks again to everyone following our progress as we build a brewery!
